For Your Information 

We don’t do math problems during meetings.

 

We don’t do work in the board during meetings.

 

You don’t have to be great in math to join the club. As long as you have interest in it and would like the experience to work with other people.

 

The “math” part comes in handy during Math Week, a week of daily math-related activities for other GW students to participate in. 

 

We have the same goal as any other club, RAISE MONEY.

 

Most of the money goes to the Senior Trip (only for graduating seniors). Seniors will decide where they will go (off-island or on-island).

 

However, an equally big amount of money will go to the Annual End-of-the-Year Banquet. Of course some money will go towards other events, activities, fundraisers, etc.

 

Any left-over money of the School Year will be left in the account for the next School Year Members.

v   9/4/06: still not chartered according to SBA

v   9/1/06: the GWHS website has finally linked our website to theirs. YAY US!! Check it out! Click Programs/Org!

v   8/30/06: Since VP used a different charter form, SBA said that they will fill out the new form for us, and all we need to do is get the advisor's signature again.

v   8/29/06: we have two lower classmen pending members ( Constitution  Article III: Section 2). C'mon Guys! We need more lower classmen members to continue the club for the following years.    

v   8/21/06: VP has already turned in a charter form. We are now just waiting for it to get approved.

!! ATTENTION !!

News and Important You-oughta-knows.

v     The Senior trip for the graduating members of SY 2006-2007 will be a trip to Saipan. We are aiming to rent a room at PIC and also use the waterpark services. More activities will be thought of later. This may seem small but with the budget we have, this is the only sure location still worthy for a Senior trip.

v     Every graduating member of every year will decide where THEIR senior trip will be.
